Getting together on Sunday is an important part of any Christian’s life. However, even in a small church, people can sometimes feel a little lost and out of place. This is where “Life Groups” are so important. All of our groups are welcoming and a place of acceptance. They are also a place where personal issues can be shared in a safe environment. They are also places of worship, Bible study, and prayer.
Titus 2:3-5 calls women to be mentors and teach the next generation of girls to be godly, to act with kindness, and to walk humbly with Jesus as their companion and guide.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Jesus – (Matthew 7:24-25).
Being a Christian man can have its challenges – in the work place, while studying, in family life. This is why it is so important for men to actively support and mentor each other. NEC provides an opportunity for men to come together and encourage one another in God’s grace and love.
Men of all ages are welcome to join the Men’s Group at their monthly events. The Men’s Group run a range of events from “Fire and Food” nights, bowling, workshops, and shared family picnics.
